What is the drop-off/pick-up process for Overnight Camp and TLT Program?
- Drop off is at 4:00 on Sunday afternoons for Overnight Campers and TLT participants. You will be greeted upon arrival and directed to the pavilion, where a staff member will show you where to park. How can I see photos of my camper?
You will receive a link via email on Monday morning of your camp week where photos are uploaded daily!
What is your cabinmate request policy?
- Age and Gender-Based Cabins: Cabins are separated by both age and gender to ensure appropriate and comfortable groupings for all campers.
- Limited Cabinmate Requests: To promote new friendships and inclusivity, we encourage campers to limit cabinmate requests to two friends. This helps prevent campers who come individually from feeling excluded from large friend groups.
- Building New Friendships: While coming to camp with friends is fun and important, we also encourage campers to embrace the opportunity to meet new people. Part of the camp experience is growing through interactions with new friends, which enriches the camp community as a whole.
- Submitting a Request: If you would like to request a specific cabinmate(s), please send an email to sierra@maranatha.camp with the full name of your camper and your requested cabinmate(s). Requests must be mutual to be honored.
Grade level for registration?
When registering for camp, please sign up your child based on the grade they will be entering in the upcoming school year, not their current grade. This helps us place campers in the appropriate age group for their cabin and activities.
For example, if your child just completed 5th grade, you should register them as a rising 6th grader.
Is it necessary to bring closed toed shoes?
Yes! Closed toed shoes are a must at camp. We have several activities that require them in order to participate. Crocs do not count as closed toed shoes. We have this policy to ensure the safety of every camper.
