Qualifications:

• Spiritual: A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out the Gospel in your daily life.

 

• Experience: Previous experience working with children or youth in a camp or educational setting is preferred but not required.

 

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of campers.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

• Attributes:

  • Positive, energetic, and adaptable.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Work Environment:

• Camp counselors will work primarily outdoors, with some indoor activities and meetings.

• Counselors must be prepared for a variety of weather conditions and physical activities.

• The position requires living on-site for overnight staff during the duration of the camp session.

• Our camp sessions run Sunday afternoon through Friday evening, with the opportunity to cover weekend shifts for additional compensation.
