Maranatha is trusted by organizations such as:
Lakeside at Maranatha
Our Lakeside Conference Facility is the perfect location for your church or corporate retreat. Located about 45 minutes from Huntsville, Maranatha is far enough away to feel “away”, while still being convenient when arranging travel and logistics. Nestled in the woods with a back porch overlooking lake Guntersville, Lakeside will provide your retreat attendees with a relaxing atmosphere where you can focus on your agenda without distraction.
Lakeside also includes:
- A kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave
- A great back porch with rocking chairs for socializing after your agenda
- A sitting room with comfortable couches, chairs, and cable TV
- A lovely fireplace and hearth to gather around
- A large, wooden table for gathering together for meals
- A handicap accessible suite as well as accessible conference and leisure spaces
- Additional rollaway beds for extra capacity, if needed.
Cabins and Lodges
Maranatha offers four cabins (each sleeps 16-18) with air conditioning, bathrooms, outdoor decked seating and more in a bunk-bed style configuration. These cabins, named after Aspen, Birch, Cedar, and Dogwood trees, are just a few steps away from our dining hall, and are conveniently located to our lodges and meeting spaces.
In addition to the Dining Hall, Maranatha offers 2 lodges which can be used as meetings spaces. The Winter lodge features a kitchen, while the Summer lodge offers a bit more space and could be used for additional sleeping space for up to 14 beds. Both facilities are air conditioned and have bathrooms.
Hogans are the most cost-effective way to stay at Maranatha for retreats. Small shacks that sleep between 5 and 6 people, hogans offer a more rustic way to stay at camp while still providing amenities like air conditioning. Small groups of hogans around our campus each share a bathouse, which are always just a few steps away.
Retreat and Conference attendees also have access to a wide range of camp activities, subject to availability, scheduling, and agreement. These include:
- Low Ropes Course
- Climbing Wall
- Giant Swing
- Challenge Course
- Stand-up Paddle Boarding
- Swimming Pool
- Waterfront Inflatables
- Target Range
